Augmented reality - APPLICATION idea.

i had an idea a little while ago.

thinking of coming up with an application that you can use over the web, where what's displayed over the browser or otherwise.... and transfer the page/etc to the augmented reality device/hmd/glasses/phone, etc.

might have to dwelve deep into the application, might even get called a SHELL or OS.

so lets check that out...........

1. wireless transfer to your device.

somehow i need to ID devices in the VACINITY of a computer terminal.
a. sort of like a digital ID card, so it can ID you when you're in the vacinity of a computer terminal.
how?
infrared?
bluetooth?
wireless GPS?
or ID with a GENERATED BARCODE over the internet.
goto a website.
www.digital-ID.com
and generate your ID with google's DATABASE, and id your device to it, simply by pointing the device to your screen. and continue wireless transfer tech.

1. digital-ID.com ---> barcode generated.
2. ID with device.
3. after which an IP to IP link is established, and transfer continues over the internet.
GOOGLE CLOUD? sort of like an interim cloud.

afterburn tech.

as for vacinity detection.
1. gps? bluetooth? website to login to device interface. 2 key interface, for high security.
2. wireless locations! Where IP's and NAME's are located. checking up on technology. glasses.

for augmented reality glasses, etc.

as for vacinity detection.
object recognition? recognize a monitor? or barcode?

WASH T SHIRT and WII REMOTE

alright. i don't feel so good. i feel like i just had someone elses food after he regurgitated it. no. really.
this is gross.

but a little while ago i saw an idea on youtube. some kids (CREDITS GIVEN, HEY!) got together and they used a wii remote to dirty a t shirt with ketchup, and the other wii remote cleans it up.

well, i recreated that piece of software. i don't feel so good, because hey, the software idea was not mine. y'know? but it was worth the build. and i wonder if anybody wants to pick the software up. and i wonder if i'm guilty of any kind of copyright infringment, but hey, i don't really care. THAT much. i guess. i'll sleep on it, i'll check, but the outcome to "care" looks doubtful.

Dishwashing Game

A little recently i created a FLASH oriented game.

it's a Dishwasher game, that lets you grab and drag dishes from one side of the screen to the wash basin on the other.
kinda basic, but it's fun. see how many you can get from one side of the screen to the other.
oh, and it's meant for touchscreens.

i'll edit my post later and put up a video demo of the game.

the game as created to be marketed, but i guess i'll post online and let people play it for free.
the thing is though, the graphics are editable, and i guess i'll have to sit around brainstorming some ideas for a graphics redo, so i can theme it around something a lot funner.

like, say, golf.
and call the game "Mulligan" or something.

sounds good.

WARP DRIVE - NASA

A little while ago, (well, many a year ago, actually) a rumour in the air, and otherwise, was sparked.

that WARP DRIVE is pretty much IS possible, and IS projected to be buildable by the human race.

over the past few years, the decade.... the human race has been showing a lot of prowess, and yes, suprisingly, a dexterity toward nano-meter technology.

the WARP drive, nasa's WARP DRIVE, which is under way according to reporters and online posts, is looking pretty promising.

Yes, it seem that the human race has entered the QUANTUM Age. for real.

it's kinda awesome, how in a few years time, we might see the future of the human race unfold when they "stop the presses," a nasa scientist goes STOP RIGHT THERE, and a monkey gets sick in the back seat on the way to cape canavarel, to see the launch of the FIRST WARP drive-enabled starship.

i'm sure the people at nasa are worried about the monkeys in the backseat, but hey, you gotta run a favor somewhere.
monkeys.... even though all they do is talk.... might have something intelligent to say. ;)

for a while there, i was actually pessimest of nasa's warp drive. i mean, Look at our planet, it's a singular planet in the vast ocean of OTHER planets that maintain life on them. (BTW: who said we haven't discovered life elsewhere in the universe. REMEMBER GLEISE-581. Look at the plant life. it looks like it's sentient life. in other words: It's ALIIIIIIVE. uhhh.... yup. Aaaaaaanyways).

continuing on:

it looks like the next few months (years) look interesting with what is to develop.

                                                     AD ASTRA PER ASPERA.

Check out META 1

I've been keeping tabs on a certain Augmented Reality Deviated Creation that they call the META-1.
The Meta 1 glasses look like they're just about the market dominator. in actual, i believe that this is it.

the only thing that where i feel that meta-1 is falling short, in it's actuality and presentator-ship, is when they fall short of using OPAQUE glasses windows. or rather, PHOTO-ELECTRIC variable opacity lenses. the glasses themselves, i'm sorry, are simply brilliant.

but sure, i gave an idea away, or two, but the factor that that the whole situation would do a lot better if they, the meta-1 creators, would simply use Photoelectric-variable-opacity windows to the see-through LCD interface.
would do a lot better in my opinion.

in other places:
Samsung's new flexible lcd took the cake as it were. and yes, it is the future. the technology that could change? well, actually, further the world when it comes to touchscreen technology, is well, about the hit the market and it's going to hit hard.

why the drama to what i speak? well, for one thing, flexible LCDs have a billion applications, like, foldable LCD screens, or break-and-disconnect lcd screens, break-lcd's and carry a piece of your lcd screens along with you to work, school, the library (remember these) and other such places.

other ideas, would include: break-away lcds. lcd screens that are flexible. wrap around lcd watches, computers. the TRUE tablet would actually Look like a book. it would change the face of computing.... and well, you can stop right there. the face. the face looks good, and a little haircut does not hurt.

more later.....
